Durham Region School Boards (DDSB, DCDSB, and KPRDSB), the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA), Ontario Addiction Treatment Centres and Lakeridge Health, are hosting an Expert Panel Q & A answering questions that Parents have about drugs. The panel will be discussing youth substance use and how current events including the pandemic and Opioid Crisis, are impacting youth and the choices they are making regarding drugs. This will be followed by an extended Q & A session, where panelist will address parent questions.

Joining us on our panel are:
• A CCSA Knowledge Broker
• A drug treatment centre counselor
• A police officer
• A person with lived experience
• An addiction physician
